A Profitability Platform Across Stores and Marketplaces

Leadership sees net sales, total selling cost, profit and margin by marketplace, country and SKU in one place, week over week, and decisions about products, pricing and ad spend are made on contribution rather than top-line revenue.

The story

What they were stuck on, and what we built

The problem

Selling through Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart and Etsy across several countries meant revenue in five dashboards, advertising spend in four more, and fees, shipping, refunds and COGS scattered across settlement files and spreadsheets. True profit by product, marketplace or country was a quarterly guess.

What we did

We built the data platform underneath: automated collection from the order-management systems and marketplace APIs, advertising spend from every platform, and settlement, fee, refund and cost data, all cleaned, matched to orders and SKUs, and modelled in a central warehouse with a profit dashboard and an automated Monday-morning report on top.

How it was built

What we connected, automated and safeguarded

The complete system: the integrations behind it, the workflow it runs, and the controls that make it safe to rely on.

What we connected

  • Shopify
  • Amazon SP-API
  • eBay, Walmart & Etsy
  • Amazon Ads, Google & Meta
  • Order management (Veeqo / BaseLinker class)
  • Settlement & COGS data

What we automated

  • Daily collection from every marketplace and ad platform
  • Costs matched to orders, SKUs and countries
  • Profit and margin modelled in the warehouse
  • A weekly report delivered every Monday
  • Data quality checks with failure alerts

Reliability & controls

  • Duplicate-proof, rate-limit aware API pipelines
  • Settlements reconciled against payouts
  • Historical data kept for true comparisons
  • Client-owned accounts and documentation

A representative build for this use case. Yours starts from your systems, your rules and your approval points.

The result

Leadership sees net sales, total selling cost, profit and margin by marketplace, country and SKU in one place, week over week, and decisions about products, pricing and ad spend are made on contribution rather than top-line revenue.
